Job Description:
Chubb is seeking an innovative Head of Analytic Asset Business
Integration to oversee the process of enabling the deployment of
data analytics assets for its North American Insurance operations.
North America Insurance is Chubb’s largest division comprising
commercial and consumer P&C insurance businesses in the United
States, Canada, and Bermuda. The successful candidate is a seasoned
technical leader with expertise in analytics asset development,
operations management, technical product lifecycle delivery
oversight, data flow / product launch management experience, and
analytic product deployment/integration to end-user systems, and
post-deployment analytic asset monitoring. This leader will have a
deep understanding of business analytics applications and
processes, work across analytics and technical teams lead in
advising on solution development based on business requirements,
oversee the delivery of developed assets into our business
ecosystem, e.g., policy administration systems, AI application
deployment processes. The leader will oversee the team responsible
for deploying analytic assets into production by addressing
implementation hurdles and partnering with Underwriting, Actuarial,
corporate IT, etc.; will own end-to-end analytic asset deployment
plans and controls, including integrating assets into end-user
business systems and workflows; collaborate with analytic asset
monitoring team responsible for ensuring proper post-deployment
asset tracking; and support feedback loop and reporting for
deployed analytic assets for continuous improvement. As part of the
North America Data & Analytics leadership team, you will be a key
business partner, working collaboratively with business unit
leaders to achieve ambitious business plans, deepen customer and
business partner relationships, IT partners, and vendors to ensure
we maximize the investments made. This role will own the analytics
asset deployment capability and end-user integrations in the NA
business, including digitization of analytics products. This role
will require exceptional collaboration and influencing skills as
well as a background in data science, , analytics process and
project design, analytic asset deployment, analytic asset
monitoring and reporting, , project / program oversight, and
insight generation. Reporting: Executive Vice President, North
America Data & Analytics Responsibilities: Serve as a key leader on
the deployment of analytics applications (including models, APIs,
AI applications) and the inputs required and suitable work plans
for building / integrating into business-facing assets Serve as
central point of connectivity between NA Analytics and Global
Analytics for asset deployment and monitoring; managing the
effective handoff from analytic asset development to deployment
Experience leading and collaborating with Data Science, Data
Analytics, and engineering teams Preferred experience with leading
integration to policy administration systems of various types
Responsible for the overall process of evaluation, review, testing
/ vetting and pre-production analytics solutions (e.g., models)
required for successful production deployment Serve as advisor on
the process of determine the relevant success metrics and KPIs that
will serve to measure outcomes once assets are productionize
Oversee team that enables movement of projects into production,
overcoming implementation hurdles, partnering with underwriting,
operations, and IT Oversee team responsible for post deployment
monitoring and associated reporting, including feedback loop to
development teams for continuous improvement Provides visibility
and input where appropriate to the North America EVP of Data and
Analytics to ensure strategies and work are appropriately linked
Will be responsible for working with various team, including data
management, analytics product development, IT and business
deployment Work directly with orchestration and deployment teams to
ensure effective hand-offs and appropriate deployment and testing
plans are in place 10 years of experience in Data and Analytics as
a leader, or 10 years of experience as an IT Leader, Engineering or
Business Transformation Leader Insurance experience with experience
working with Actuarial and Data Science teams Bachelor’s degree or
equivalent in work experience; Master’s degree preferred Experience
in providing data driven consultation (either internally or as an
external consultant) to business unit leaders Wireframes,
prototyping, POC design, and execution experience required
Analytics solution delivery expertise Strong ability to set
execution plan, monitor progress, and dictate actions that will
lead to successful outcomes across various phases of the asset
development and deployment process Solid understand of analytics
applications and processes Strong communication skills both verbal
and written. Must be able to present complex issues in a manner
that is easily understood by a non-technical audience Creative
problem solver with the ability to quickly identify and resolve
errors through collaborative solutions Data-driven decision maker;
able to complete thorough research and investigation, yet quickly
make decisions and present findings Capable of working
collaboratively with leaders and business partners Understanding of
analytics applications and processes Experience working across
business, technical, IT, Digital and Operations teams to influence
decisions and drive outcome The pay range for the role is $240,000
to $310,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s
skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to
participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Chubb
