hear from you. The Vice President of Finance is a senior leadership
role responsible for stewarding the division’s financial framework
and supporting its long-term financial strength. This role serves
as a key strategic partner to executive leadership, ensuring
financial planning, investment decisions, and resource allocation
align with organizational priorities and support both current
performance and future growth. The Vice President leads the
division’s financial planning and performance cycles, ensuring
alignment with Disney Entertainment leadership and global finance
partners across international markets. This role provides executive
leadership across both the Finance and Production Accounting
functions, ensuring strong financial oversight, continuity, and
integrity. Direct Reports: Director, Finance Director, Production
Accounting Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Strategic
Leadership: Lead the division’s financial planning processes,
including long-range planning, annual planning, and ongoing
forecasts. Ensure planning frameworks, governance, and performance
measures support disciplined execution and organizational
priorities. Provide financial insight and perspective to support
strategic planning, investment decisions, and resource allocation.
Continuously assess financial outlook, assumptions, and risks,
adapting plans to evolving business conditions across global
markets. Executive Partnership and Strategic Alignment: Serve as a
trusted financial advisor to executive leadership, providing
insight into financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
Partner closely with operating leadership, Disney Entertainment and
The Walt Disney Company finance leadership, and global finance
partners to support informed decision-making. Provide clear
financial perspective that supports both divisional priorities and
broader enterprise financial objectives. Production Finance
Leadership: Partner with production leadership to develop and
manage production budgets and schedules, ensuring projects are
delivered on time and on budget. Provide executive oversight of all
financial aspects of the production lifecycle, including expensed
and capitalized budgets, Estimated Final Costs (EFC), and
production accounting. Provide financial leadership on tax
incentives, cost planning, and vendor negotiations to support
disciplined financial management. Leadership of Finance and
Production Accounting Functions: Provide executive leadership and
direction to both the Finance and Production Accounting teams.
Strengthen organizational capability, leadership development, and
continuity across both functions. Ensure strong integration between
financial planning and production accounting to support accurate
forecasting and financial oversight. Foster strong collaboration
and alignment across financial activities. Provide executive
oversight of participations and royalty processes, ensuring
accuracy, transparency, and strong financial stewardship. Financial
Transformation and Organizational Effectiveness: Provide leadership
through the continued evolution of the finance function, ensuring
effective adoption of planning frameworks and financial processes.
Advance key finance and organizational initiatives, ensuring
effective integration across the Finance and Production Accounting
functions. Establish clear ownership, governance, timelines, and
success measures to ensure disciplined execution and
accountability. Strengthen financial planning, reporting, and
operational effectiveness through consistent frameworks and
continuous improvement. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure
compliance with financial regulations, legal requirements, and
industry standards. Develop and implement risk management
strategies to mitigate potential threats. Oversee internal controls
and audit processes to ensure integrity and transparency.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, MBA and/or CPA
preferred. Minimum 15 years of financial management experience,
preferably in entertainment/media/publishing. Strong interpersonal,
presentation, and communication skills. Demonstrated capability to
draw insightful conclusions from financial and operational
analysis. Excellent relationship management and deal
negotiation/closing skills. Comprehensive understanding of
accounting and financial controls. Proven history of strategic
thinking, problem-solving, and team leadership. Key Competencies:

for this position in New York, NY is $259,600 to $348,100 per year.
The base pay actually offered will take into account internal
equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic
region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other
factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided
as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range
of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the
