round employees POSITION SUMMARY The Lift Maintenance Mechanic
II/III ensures safe, reliable lift transportation by performing
year-round mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting
issues during operations, and making operational decisions based on
conditions. The Lift Maintenance Mechanic II/III will be
responsible for leading the daily crew independently and
successfully. This is a year-round, benefit eligible position. The
compensation range for this role is $26.00 - $32.00/hr. ESSENTIAL
DUTIES Year-round mechanical and electrical maintenance on all
types of tramways Responsible for accurate & timely record keeping
including monthly & daily operational checks, work orders, parts
inventory for all jobs Responsible for training lift operators and
lift maintenance staff Complete daily duties as assigned by the
Lift Maintenance Supervisor Make lists of parts and service needed
Work on and assist with lift construction projects Read and
understand service books, prints, and drawings Troubleshoot various
lift issues Practice safe rigging techniques Drive all types of
vehicles Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times in
accordance with OSHA guidelines Attend staff meetings and training
as required by the resort Continuously learn new technical
information and techniques in order to stay current with rapidly
changing technology Effectively able to plan and predict upcoming
maintenance Assist with state inspections Attend service schools
and teachings Must effectively communicate with team, management,
and various departments (lifts, grooming, activities, snowmaking,
etc.) Additional duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE,
SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or equivalent
Vermont Tramway School level 1 & 2 4-6 years experience in Lift
Maintenance Licenses must be issued in the country or state in
which the employee works, unless exceptions have been approved by a
Senior Leader Valid driver's license Experience with heavy
equipment, vehicles, machine shop, & power tools Must be able to
lift 60 lbs. unassisted Must be able to perform maintenance at high
heights in all weather conditions Ability to learn and to teach
others Strong communication skills Able to multitask and stay
organized PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS This position may
be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays. To perform
