Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A Special Education Teacher position is available to
support diverse learners in a school setting located in New Haven,
CT. This role involves providing tailored educational support to
students with special needs, ensuring they receive appropriate
instruction and accommodations to succeed academically and
socially. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement
individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special
needs. Deliver specialized instruction in alignment with curriculum
standards and student abilities. Collaborate with general education
teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student learning.
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching
strategies as necessary. Participate in team meetings and
professional development activities. Occasionally travel between
locations to support multiple school sites. Qualifications: Valid
teaching certification in Special Education. Experience working in
school environments with students who have a range of disabilities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to adapt
instructional methods to meet diverse student needs. Willingness to
travel as required within the service area. This role offers the
