Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An opportunity is available for an experienced special
education teacher to support students in grades K-12 in a school
setting. This contract position offers work with self-contained
classrooms, resource rooms, and special day classrooms, providing
diverse and rewarding teaching experiences. Located in Bennington,
VT, the role begins as soon as possible and continues through the
end of the current school year. The position involves working 30 to
37.5 hours per week, five days a week, with pay ranging from $37 to
$41 per hour based on experience. Key responsibilities include:
Delivering specialized instruction tailored to individual education
plans (IEPs) of students in grades K through 12 Collaborating with
multidisciplinary teams to create and implement effective learning
strategies Managing classroom behavior and providing a supportive
learning environment Monitoring student progress and maintaining
accurate documentation Qualifications and desired experience:
Active state license for special education teaching Experience
working with diverse age groups, including K-5, grades 6-8, and
high school levels Ability to manage self-contained and resource
classroom settings Strong communication and teamwork skills
