Job Description: The Role We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate Director of Engineering/Technical Lead to oversee the development and launch of our next-generation AI SaaS products. The successful candidate will have a deep passion for artificial intelligence, innovative cloud technologies, and the creation of high-impact solutions that address both business and user needs. Your responsibilities will span across technical strategy development, working with partners and customers, capability implementation, leading and working alongside the development team, and delivering value to our users, partners, and customers. You will be a Tech Lead in a cross-functional team of data scientists, developers, designers, analysts, and product managers to launch and scale our FCAT products to both internal and external users. As part of our dynamic technology team, you will play a pivotal role in defining the strategic technical direction of our core SaaS products.

• Lead the development and maintenance of scalable AI SaaS applications.
• Establish standards and ensure alignment with existing technology roadmaps.
• Remove barriers to deliver value and drive progress.
• Work with the team to enhance application scalability, stability, and resilience.
• Design, develop, and modify complex SaaS systems.
• Collaborate with Product Leaders and Architects to establish non-functional requirements for scale and performance.
• Define an end-to-end performance testing strategy and address test data needs for scalability.
• Explore and drive implementation of machine learning and AI advancements to improve application development and solve business/user needs. The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
  • Proven experience as a hands-on technical leader delivering SaaS products.
  • Expertise in Python and full-stack development.
  • Experience building scalable systems with a strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, event-based services, data pipelines, and orchestration.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
  • Experience with various database technologies: SQL (Oracle & Snowflake), NoSQL, Graph, Vector.
  • Experience working with AWS and infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation).
  • Experience implementing CI/CD and DevOps best practices.
  • Proficiency in containerization with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Able to explain complex system concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience leading technology teams for AI and cloud products.
  • Experience working with modern transactional and data processing application
  • Experience developing AI-powered applications.
  • Experience building/testing secure, high-volume complex applications using Java, Oracle, Web Services, Angular, XML/JSON, and SQL.
  • Experience designing IT architecture and facilitating change reviews, release management, and infrastructure change schedules.
  • Knowledge of security concepts, such as SSL/TLS, OAuth, encryption.
  • Willingness to partner effectively with technology & business partners.
  • Successful delivery of key technology efforts in support of our business strategy.
  • Partnership with application developers to ensure technology solutions align with our long-term architecture and application strategies.
  • Defining standards for application and infrastructure design, engineering, and development.
  • Mentoring and developing more junior technical staff.
  • Providing knowledge and experience through insights and great ideas.
