Job Type: Full Time
Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in New York, NY is
$175,700 - $237,700 per year and this role may be eligible to earn
incentive compensation. Siemens offers a variety of health and

Duties: Oversee technical support and spares supply agreement for a
fleet of more than 500 railway vehicles (locomotives and coaches).
Supervise maintenance through the execution phase. R esponsible for
profits and loss and fulfilling all requirements for the
maintenance contract. Managing customer relations in
project-related matters, and through leading discussions and
negotiations around scope, cost, and schedule changes. Identifying
potential problems and devising contingency plans for the project.
Driving the schedule for service mobilization, project landmarks,
material delivery, and acceptance. Preparing and delivering monthly
project reports, customer progress reports, customer change
proposals, and presentations to management and internal and
external partners. Tracking and optimizing the defined metrics from
the service contract throughout the project such as reliability,
availability, safety, etc. Communicating and managing project
expectations to team members and partners promptly and
transparently. Defining the requirements and the strategy to
achieve the project's goals and individual subprojects.
Implementing the legal or contractual requirements in the
maintenance plant and ensure that the requirements for partners and
suppliers are considered. Releasing the customer documentation and
collaborating with partners in the commissioning/warranty phase,
participating in readiness checks and depot infrastructure
reviews.
Requirements : Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign
equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,
Industrial Engineering or related field and 72 months of experience
in the job offered or in a Project Management-related occupation. P
osition requires experience in the following: Serve as a project
manager with cross-organizational projects with end-to-end
responsibility for economic results, quality, schedule and EHS;
Develop strategies for the projects, creates and aligns project
targets; Perform maintenance management to ensure the fulfillment
of all requirements of the maintenance contract, including
management of the team, administration, controlling, maintenance,
materials logistics and maintenance planning; Oversee project
staff; Oversee project finances, including adherence of the
financial results to targets, regular financial controlling and
reporting along the project lifespan and appropriate reflection of
the results of risk assessments in project calculation. 50%
domestic travel required. 100% Telecommuting permitted.
