Our relationship managers work closely with clients to understand their needs and bring them unique solutions to complex issues. The department is organized into areas of expertise by industry, product, and region.The Business Management team within CIB provides ongoing operational and strategic support, as well as supervisory oversight, to relationship managers and senior executives so they may focus on providing optimal client coverage. The team works extensively with numerous TDS and TDBG support functions to advance the needs of CIB and assists with the rollout of numerous firm and bank-wide initiatives.Depth & Scope:

• Leads and manages the CIB business management functional area and overall operation of a diverse group in an area of moderate risk, complexity or scope
• Ensures an integrated approach with other business management areas, broader organization, and enterprise as appropriate
• Deep knowledge and understanding of businesses / technology, and organizational practices/ disciplines
• Focuses on short to medium-term issues (e.g. 6-12 months)
• Facilitates the surveillance of business activities to be in line with regulatory rules and industry standard practices
• Works with Legal and Compliance Departments to implement various required supervisory reviews and/or update existing reviewsEducation & Experience:
  • Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/ Economics
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Sound to advanced knowledge of external competition, industry and/or market trends in relation to own function / business
  • Ability to provide guidance on Business Management matters and respond to inquiries from business unit staff
  • Must be detail oriented and possess problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and establish priorities
