Job Description:
This nursing position requires a graduate of an accredited RN
program with a current New Mexico or Compact state license and BLS
certification within 2 weeks of hire. All other certifications must
be obtained within 6 months.
Candidates should have appropriate knowledge and skills for the
patient population, with sensitivity to patient rights and clear
communication tailored to developmental age.
Supervision is provided by the Patient Care Director or Manager.
The environment involves exposure to infectious diseases, x-rays,
and bloodborne pathogens, with work in a clean, well-lit,
smoke-free setting.
The role demands physical stamina for emergency response, patient
handling, and extended standing/walking, requiring good vision,
hearing, manual dexterity, and the ability to perform physical
tasks such as reaching, stooping, and transferring patients.
