Job Description:

Provides respiratory care to patients in varying states of health and illness by assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the respiratory plan of care. Makes knowledgeable assessments of outpatients in clinic, testing, pulmonary rehab, and inpatient consults as needed. Performs pulmonary therapy care according to established policy and procedure in assigned areas including pulmonary function testing (PFT), pulmonary rehab, and respiratory patient education. The Respiratory Therapist functions as an essential member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing direct patient care, instruction, and education.

    • Registration as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT). - - - -
    • Current VT State license. - - - -
    • BLS Certification through American Heart Association. - - - -
    • ACLS preferred or plan to acquire within one (1) year. - - - -
    • CPFT preferred or plan to acquire within twoe (2) year. - - - -
