The Physical Therapist is responsible for the remediation of children with a wide range of disabilities/delays. The Physical Therapist contributes goals to the Individual Educational Plan (IEP) and will work on these target objectives throughout the school year. The Physical Therapist will provide quality individual and group sessions in person while working at our center-based program (no traveling required).30 hours per week, full-time positionMonday, Tuesday, Thursday - 8:30am to 3:00pmWednesday - 8:30am to 3:30pmFriday - 8:30am to 2:30pm_*Excellent hours!*__*Earn paid time off!*__*Paid holidays and school breaks!*__*Benefits include Health, Vision, Dental, Life and MORE!*__*Become a part of an experienced school building team and make a difference!*_*Key responsibilities of the Physical Therapist (PT) include:* The PT will provide and direct physical therapy services to students as per their IEP mandates. The PT will develop treatment plans to achieve identified goals. The PT will adhere to applicable principles and practices of physical therapy, APTA policies/procedures, and state regulations. The PT will work collaboratively with OTs, SLPs, school psychologists and classroom staff as needed to provide positive treatment outcomes. The PT will work effectively with parents, teaching staff and other professionals directly involved in the care and treatment of the child to develop and monitor IEP services The PT will complete all necessary paperwork accurately and timely (e.g., daily session notes, quarterly progress reports, annual reviews, etc.).
