Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare institution renowned

Nurse II for our C6 Short Stay Surgical Unit. This crucial role
focuses on providing exceptional care to patients undergoing short
surgical procedures, ensuring comfort and safety during their brief
stay. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of competence
in surgical nursing and patient care, demonstrating compassion,
efficiency, and a commitment to excellence in a dynamic and
supportive environment. Provide nursing care to patients before and
after short-duration surgical procedures. Monitor patient vital
signs and adjust care plans as needed. Educate patients and
families on post-operative home care requirements. Collaborate with
surgical teams to facilitate comprehensive care coordination.
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all safety
regulations. Proficient in surgical nursing practices. Strong
ability to monitor and interpret patient vital signs. Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively
in a fast-paced environment. Capable of lifting and moving patients
as required. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of
practice. BLS Certification. ACLS Certification preferred.
