Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Bronx, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,432 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 11 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/25/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN - Emergency Room Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 11.5 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience License: State RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (Mandatory) Must-Have: Ventilator experience, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, Good written and verbal communication skills Description: Assess patients' clinical conditions, recognizing, identifying, and interpreting serious situations. Prioritize and immediately decide upon and take proper action in emergency situations when the physician is not immediately available. Operate and monitor general and specialized emergency care equipment such as infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors. Administer therapeutic measures as prescribed by the physician such as medications and IV therapy that alter hemodynamic status and respiratory therapy. Record observations, nursing interventions, therapeutic measures administered, and the status of coordinated activities between nursing and other professional disciplines. Document specific healthcare requirements for patients and prepare written assignments to individual team members, matching the skills and abilities of staff to the care requirements of patients. Plan and develop care delivery and implementation of the plan while coordinating the documentation of care. Share responsibilities for sustaining adequate supplies and equipment as well as general upkeep of the unit and preserving a safe environment. Awareness of possible float to ICU and medical surgical units is required. Must work weekends and holidays. Scrubs must be red.
