Registered Nurse (RN) - Long Term Care contract opportunity with
our LTC facility in Newton, NJ. Pay: - $2,606 (Travel pay package)
- Local pay package available Available Work Schedules: - 3 Evening
shifts 2:45pm - 11:15pm - 2 Night shifts 11:15pm - 7:45am - 40 hour
guarantee Contract Details: - 18 weeks to start (with option to
extend) Job Details - Assess patient or resident health, monitor
for changes, and take appropriate action to ensure their well-being
- Develop, update, and implement personalized care plans in
collaboration with residents, families, and the patient care team -
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately -
Observe residents for any medication reactions or changes in
condition and report concerns to the healthcare provider - Provide
treatments including wound care, IV therapy, catheter management,
and other skilled procedures within scope of practice - Supervise
and support LPNs and CNAs, delegating appropriately and ensuring
residents receive quality care - Educate residents and families on
medications, treatments, and managing chronic conditions - Document
care provided, resident progress, and any health changes in a
timely manner - Respond quickly to emergencies, delivering critical
care and coordinating with medical teams when needed Qualifications
- Valid RN license - At least one year of clinical experience in a
long-term care setting - Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills -
