Histology Technologist for a travel job in Berlin, Vermont. Job

Duration: 16 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days -
Employment Type: Travel Title: Histology Technologist (Histology
Tech) Location: Berlin, VT Duration: 16 Weeks (assignment may
extend up to 32 weeks) Shift: Day Shift – 5x8 hours Monday–Friday,
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Closed on weekends Job Responsibilities and
Required/Preferred Skills & Requirements Job Responsibilities: -
Perform histology laboratory procedures for patient specimens -
Prepare, process, embed, cut, stain, and mount tissue samples -
Ensure accuracy and quality control in histologic preparation -
Support diagnostic services for patients ranging from newborn to
geriatric - Maintain compliance with laboratory safety standards
and protocols - Document work accurately using the facility’s EMR
system - Collaborate with laboratory and clinical teams as needed
Required Qualifications & Skills: - ASCP (HT) or ASCP (HTL)
certification required - Minimum of 1 year of Histology experience
- Recent EPIC experience (within the past 2 years) – non-negotiable
- Prior travel experience required (no first-time travelers) -
Ability to work full-time weekday schedule - COVID-19 vaccination
required (no exemptions) - Flu vaccination required
(medical/religious exemptions only) - Must have reliable
transportation; public transportation is not accessible - Vehicles
must be equipped with all-season or snow tires during
November–April Preferred Qualifications & Skills: - Experience
across all age groups (newborn to geriatric) - Complete and
well-documented work history including bed count, EMR, and facility
