Shift: 3 × 11.5-hour shifts Hours: 8:30 AM – 8:00 PM Compensation
(Travel Assignment) Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,840 Position Summary
A large urban acute-care hospital in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an
experienced Post Partum / Mother Baby Registered Nurse for a
13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide high-quality,
family-centered care to postpartum patients and newborns while
collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to
ensure optimal maternal and neonatal outcomes. Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and
newborns Perform maternal and newborn assessments and monitor
recovery progress Administer medications, IV therapy, and
treatments as ordered Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy Assist
with conscious sedation procedures as required Educate patients and
families on postpartum care, newborn care, and discharge
instructions Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the
electronic medical record Collaborate with physicians, lactation
consultants, and interdisciplinary teams Ensure compliance with
hospital policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory
requirements Education Requirements Associate Degree in Nursing
(ASN or ADN) from an accredited nursing program Experience
Requirements Minimum 2 years of Maternal & Child / Mother Baby
experience Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy
experience Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience
Required Licensure & Certifications Active New York State RN
License AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) AHA ACLS (Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
