Job Description:
Gifted Healthcare is currently seeking a PRN ICU Registered
Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated and professional team at our
facility in Newton, New Jersey. Our mission is to place our nurses
in environments where they can excel and provide the highest level
of care. As a PRN ICU RN, you will have the opportunity to work on
an as-needed basis, providing critical care to patients in
intensive care units. You will work alongside a team of skilled
healthcare professionals dedicated to maintaining high standards of
care and improving patient outcomes. This position requires
adaptability, high technical proficiency, and a strong
compassionate nature, as you will be attending to patients with
severe medical conditions. Provide direct and individualized
nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific
nursing principles. Monitor patient health and progress while
effectively communicating with doctors about changes in patient's
clinical condition. Perform assessments, plan patient care,
implement treatment, and evaluate patient outcomes. Administer
medications and document therapeutic effects. Prepare, operate, and
monitor medical equipment. Maintain a safe and clean working
environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Support patient and their families by providing information,
comfort, and education about conditions and treatment plans.
Expertise in ICU or critical care nursing. Ability to perform
effectively in stressful and high-pressure situations. Excellent
decision-making and problem-solving skills. Strong communication
and interpersonal skills especially in patient interactions.
Knowledge of modern healthcare technology and electronic health
records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New
Jersey. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life
Support (ACLS) certification required.
