Job Description:
Genesis HealthCare, a leader in post-acute and rehabilitation
health services, is seeking a skilled Wound Care and Skin Health
Team Lead, RN, to oversee our dedicated team. This role is pivotal
in ensuring the highest standards of care in wound management and
skin health across our facilities. The successful candidate will
have a strong background in nursing, specializing in wound care,
and will be responsible for leading their team in delivering
patient-centric, effective care solutions. This position requires a
compassionate leader with a deep understanding of patient needs and
the ability to innovate and improve care practices. Supervise and
train nursing staff in effective wound care and skin health
management techniques. Develop, implement, and evaluate
individualized patient care plans based on current standards and
practices. Lead quality assurance and process improvement
initiatives within the wound care department. Ensure compliance
with all federal, state, and local regulations and Genesis
HealthCare policies. Collaborate with other healthcare
professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Monitor and
report on treatment progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
Advanced knowledge of wound care therapy and management. Strong
leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using healthcare software
and electronic health records. Ability to work collaboratively in a
multidisciplinary team. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Certification in Wound Care (CWCN or WCC) preferred.
