Job Description:

work. Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 24 months of role
experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have
at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Travel experience is preferred from any number of months. • 3
months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of
months. • Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of
months Requirements: • Candidates must have a Connecticut license
or compact license (required for submission). • This role will
require floating to multiple units • Travel only, local not
allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be
submitted. • Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations
not accepted. • 24 months gap required between for Staff at
Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Yale and no current placement
allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Yale. Pre-employment
modules may be required for this role. Please upload any

Skills/Experience: Return Staff Policy: Must be gone 2 years to
return as a traveler. Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics.
Specific Skills: Med/Surg, Telemetry, Interpretation of
dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid
Response/Code teams, IV insulin protocols, Feeding tube care and
management, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw,
Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and
maintaining IVs, Heparin, Insulin, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive
airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen tanks, Isolation
Precautions/PPE. Preferred Skills/Experience: Wound Care/Wound Vac.
Previous Charge Experience. Shift & Scheduling: Weekend
Requirement: Every other weekend. On-call is not required. Floating
Requirements: Clinician could float to ED to care for boarders &

Unit Name: 30040 - V4W: Acute Care for Older Adults. Provider
Supports: IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services,
Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services,
Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary.
Average Daily Census: 21. Beds: 22. You must be able to complete
labs within 48 hours of signing. Required skills and experience: 2
years required for submission (within specialty submitting to) We
will still sub 1.5 Yrs if Level I or travel exp Required
credentials: NIHSS must be APEX, AHA, AACME or Blue Cloud Unit and
facility details: Parking Cost: $125/month Details: • AUTO OFFER -
NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not
interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However,
an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests
must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be
worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
