Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in Waterbury, Connecticut. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Med/Surg Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Waterbury , CT. Job Function: /n - Day Shift and Night Shift. /n - Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications. /n - Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse. /n - Educates patients on surgical procedures; Records patients’ medical information and vital signs. /n - Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records. electronic displays. /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). /n - Current RN license for the state of Connecticut. /n - 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience is required. /n - BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications from the American Heart Association are required. /n /nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
