Doctor of Medicine | Cardiology - General/Other Location: Albany, NY Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Position Overview A well-established health system in Albany is expanding its cardiology team and seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care. This is a dynamic opportunity offering multiple scheduling models within a collaborative, team-oriented environment across locations in Albany and Troy, NY. Position Highlights Combination of inpatient and outpatient cardiology services Multiple employment models available: Weekend rounding only Traditional hospital clinic schedule Hospital-only, shift-based role Outpatient clinic responsibilities (including walk-in clinics 2–3 times per month for traditional model) 1:5 weekend call rotation (telephone with occasional in-person coverage) Epic EMR system Collaborative multidisciplinary cardiology team Open to 2026 graduates 1099 candidates considered Not accepting locums candidates Clinical Responsibilities Provide high-quality inpatient cardiology consults and hospital rounding Deliver outpatient cardiology care and clinic visits Manage an average of 20–25 patients per 8-hour clinic day Participate in hospital rounding on shared census (50–60 patients across team) Maintain accurate documentation within EMR Comply with credentialing and institutional policies Requirements Required Qualifications Board Certified in Internal Medicine OR Truly Board Eligible (must obtain board certification within 2 years of hire) Fellowship-trained in Cardiology (completed prior to start) Active New York medical license (or willing to obtain) BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications DEA registration Clean malpractice history Candidates with lapsed board certification will not be accepted Additional Submission Requirements All of the following are required prior to presentation: Board Certification status confirmation NPDB Self-Query Report (within 30 days) Confirmation of ability to work at multiple locations (Albany & Troy, NY) Disclosure regarding visa requirements Confirmation candidate has not applied directly to the health system Acknowledgment that credentialing fees are not reimbursed Note: Local candidates within 30 miles may not be eligible for submission.
