Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare institution known

experienced Clinical Nurse III for our E8 medical unit. This role
is pivotal in delivering high-quality nursing care tailored to the
specific needs of our patients. The successful candidate will bring
a depth of clinical expertise, a passion for nursing and patient
outcomes, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients within
the E8 unit. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members,
ensuring the highest quality of care and patient safety. Engage in
patient and family education regarding treatments and home care
needs. Supervise and mentor junior staff, including RNs, LPNs, and
nursing assistants. Contribute to the development and
implementation of patient care plans. Stay updated with
advancements in nursing practices and participate in educational
workshops. Participate in research opportunities and quality
improvement initiatives within the hospital. Proficiency in
high-level patient care management Excellent teamwork and
collaboration abilities Strong leadership skills and ability to
mentor others Adept in using electronic health record systems
Effective communication skills, both oral and written Medical
Insurance Life Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in
the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred
Certification in clinical practice area is highly desirable
