Pine Acres Rehabilitation and Living Center is looking to enhance its team with a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) who excels in providing both rehabilitative care and compassionate support to our residents. As an integral part of our diverse healthcare team, you will work alongside experienced PTs and nursing staff, following detailed care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Assist the physical therapist in evaluating patients' progress and adapting treatment plans accordingly. Implement patient care plans under the supervision of a physical therapist, focusing on techniques that aid pain management and increase mobility. Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care plans and preventive measures. Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, outcomes, and progress. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Proven ability to perform therapeutic interventions prescribed by a physical therapist. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of proper safety protocols and equipment maintenance. Ability to handle physical demands such as moving patients or heavy equipment. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Current license or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). CPR and First Aid certification required.
