Job Description:
Join Albany Medical Center, a renowned healthcare system that

dedicated and skilled Clinical Nurse II, specialized in
Medical/Surgical Hospital practice, to support our growing needs on
the E3 surgical unit. This full-time position offers a dynamic
working environment where compassion meets innovation, and you are
at the forefront of delivering high-quality care. Provide direct
and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical
unit. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in
collaboration with the healthcare team. Administer medications and
treatments accurately and safely. Maintain accurate patient records
and monitor patients' health condition. Educate patients and their
families on disease prevention and health maintenance. Participate
in continuous education to update knowledge and skills. Comply with
healthcare laws, regulations, and standards. Proven ability to
handle medical/surgical equipment. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Capability to perform under stress in emergencies. Proficiency in
using healthcare software and systems. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
certification preferred.
