Job Description:
Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift Assignment Duration This is
a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30
AM Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery
of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed. The
RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing
Assistants, ensuring a focus on patient safety and high-quality
care. Responsibilities Perform a nursing assessment on all patients
within 8 hours of admission, forming an individualized plan of
care. Identify teaching needs and collaborate with the patient,
family, and interdisciplinary team. Provide timely patient
information for team conferences and ensure accurate documentation
of all assessments and interventions. Participate in the patient
rehabilitation program, focusing on patient education and achieving
quality outcomes. Initiate discharge planning from the day of
admission and anticipate teaching needs. Communicate pertinent
information regarding changes in patient status to support
continuity of care. Provide direction and supervision of ancillary
nursing personnel, utilizing effective problem-solving techniques.
Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to
hospital and nursing policies. Contribute positively to unit
functioning and engage in team-building activities. Assume charge
responsibility following the orientation period as requested. Seek
professional growth through continuing education and self-study.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure BLS Certification
required prior to the first shift. ACLS certification required
prior to the first shift (CIRH ONLY). Minimum of two (2) years
bedside clinical experience required. Minimum of one (1) year of
