Pine Acres Rehabilitation and Living Center is seeking an Evening Cook to join our Food & Beverage team, focused on supporting our commitment to excellence in nutrition and dietary services. The Evening Cook will ensure meal preparations are in strict adherence to healthcare dietary regulations and center standards, contributing to the overall health and wellness of our patients. Prepare evening meals following specific dietary requirements and menus. Ensure cleanliness and sanitary practices in the kitchen and dining areas. Coordinate with healthcare staff to adjust meals for specific patient needs. Manage kitchen inventory and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations. Proficiency in various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in food handling Ability to follow strict dietary guidelines and adapt recipes for medical needs Effective communication and organizational skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Food Handler's Certificate ServSafe Certification preferred
