financial client, headquartered near Edison, NJ, is currently
seeking a Senior Software engineer to join their fulltime team.
This role is a high profile position, and requires 10 years of
experience developing both web and mobile applications. As a key
member of the team, you will play a key role in developing and
maintaining innovative, scalable, and secure applications that
support strategic enterprise objectives. Your expertise in mobile
app and API development will be critical in building transformative
digital products. This role requires a combination of remote and
on-site work. This role is onsite 3 days a week. This is a fulltime
position. Client is unable to consider anyone needing work visa
transfer or sponsorship (now or in the future). Key
Responsibilities: Develop hybrid mobile apps using native languages
and mobile web development. Design, develop, test, and deploy
high-quality software solutions using cloud platforms, modern web
frameworks, and scripting languages. Ensure cross-platform
compatibility and performance optimization. Leverage cloud services
for application development, including serverless computing and
cloud storage solutions. Design, develop, and manage APIs to
support seamless integration across systems. Follow architectural
best practices to ensure scalability, performance, and
maintainability. Ensure security best practices in cloud-based
development. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including
engineers, QA, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful
project delivery. Promote best practices in coding, testing, and
deployment across the team. Qualifications: 6 years of experience
in mobile and web application development. Hands-on cloud
experience with services such as serverless computing, cloud APIs,
or similar. Experience working with NoSQL databases (Dynamo or
Mongo). Experience with mobile app development using SwiftUI,
Kotlin, or hybrid frameworks. Proficient in designing, developing,
and managing APIs utilizing GraphQL and REST. Advanced skills in
TypeScript and JavaScript for software development and scripting.
Familiarity with modern development workflows, version control
(Git), deployment pipelines, and mobile app lifecycle management.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks for managing and delivering
projects. Must have outstanding communication and collaboration
skills to work with cross-functional technology teams. REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a
related field.
