Our client, a leading litigation law firm with offices throughout the Northeast, has an immediate need for a Workers Compensation Associate Attorney, to join our winning team in Providence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:

Actively represent clients in courtroom hearings and argue cases before the Rhode Island Workers' Compensation Court.
Must be a proactive problem solver who are comfortable in a courtroom setting.
Have the ability to think on their feet and possess strong communication and organizational abilities.
Review calendar and prepare for scheduled hearings or depositions.
Appear before the Rhode Island Workers' Compensation Court
Draft motions, review medical records, and analyze employment documentation to build a sound case strategy.
Regularly update clients on case developments, offer strategic advice, and ensure they remain informed and confident in your representation.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice in Rhode Island and in good standing with the state bar
1-5 years of experience handling workers' compensation claims and/or insurance defense matters
Proven ability to manage a caseload independently, while meeting deadlines and court requirements
Must be comfortable in a courtroom setting and arguing before the RI Workers' Compensation Court, with demonstrated ability to handle hearings independently; ability to think quickly is essential.
Excellent communication skills for maintaining ongoing client relationships and providing strategic legal advice
A professional demeanor, ethical judgment, and a strong commitment to client service and results-driven representation
