position is for an Equipment Engineer in ASML's Optical Fabrication
Engineering organization. The Equipment Engineer will be
responsible for achieving high uptime metrics for assigned optical
fabrication process tools. This will be done through defining PMs,
driving corrective actions and improvements, and closely
collaborating with Process Engineering and Production teams. The
Equipment Engineer team will also be a stakeholder and key lead
role on execution of new capex projects and upgrades.This position
requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export
Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.). Qualified
candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled
technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require
ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to
access controlled technology.Role and responsibilitiesResponsible
for equipment uptime/PM metrics: developing, analyzing, reporting,
driving actions.Define robust preventative maintenance (PM)
procedures.Train maintenance technicians.Perform advanced
troubleshooting and repairs.SPC of equipment parameters and PM
data.Manage new tool installs, coordinate w/Facilities, and Process
Engineering.Manage upgrades/modifications to existing tools
(design, installation, functionality testing).Mechanical design of
tooling, fixtures, modifications.Key stakeholder in new capex
projects (i.E. spec review, serviceability, vendor field service
capability, receive maintenance training from vendor, FAT/SAT with
PE).Recommend/set-up service contracts.Identify and order critical
spare parts.Assess equipment end-of-life.Collaborate with Process
Engineers on equipment-related root causes of process issues,
equipment-driven process improvements.Maintain manuals,
documentation, software backup copies.Maintain back-ups of all
process programs.Education and experienceBS Degree or related
technical field, or equivalent experience.0-5 years' experience
working as an equipment engineer in a manufacturing environment,
preferably in a semiconductor wafer fab, optical fabrication, or
similar high tech manufacturing.Strong knowledge and hands-on
experience with one or more of the following types of process
equipment: optical fabrication, vacuum deposition process (PVD,
PECVD), CNC, wet process equipment.Knowledge of Semi E10 equipment
state model, and experience tracking equipment uptime
