Requires Credentialing Description: $2,000 Sign on BonusIf moving
to the Bennington area for this position, you may be eligible for a
relocation stipend.And as an additional benefit for our Rostered
Clinicians, we provide the required 100 hours of clinical
supervision toward licensure, free of charge. Based on the current
hourly rate of clinical supervision and the number of hours

stronger community. Qualifications: The CYFS Clinician provides
clinical outpatient therapy services to children and families,
allowing easy access, timely response, and flexibility to deliver
services that are office based and based in the community as needed
in a family centered approach. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: DIRECT
CLINICAL SERVICES: Provides assessment and counseling to children,
families, and/or groups suffering from mental health and/or
substance use disorder. Services will be provided in the home,
school, or office as needed. Facilitates referrals and
communication between agencies for other services on behalf of the
child. Attends team meetings to plan and monitor services. Provides
case management, collateral contact, and social support, as needed.
Makes community visits to support families, as needed. Facilitates
communication between agencies on behalf of the child and/or
family. Attends team meetings to plan and monitor services.
Provides case management, and/or coordinates with the assigned case
manager. May provide Substance Use services, or within related SUD
grants, the incumbent will show competencies in screening,
assessment, engagement, treatment planning, collaboration,
referral, HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, and other evidence-based
counseling and professional ethics theories, in order to provide
effective care. Participation in the annual 5 week long summer Camp
Be A Kid program as program staff. ADMINISTRATIVE: Attends all UCS
and community meetings necessary to promote coordination and
communication. CONSULTATION/EDUCATION SERVICES: Provides
consultation services to teachers, community partners, and school
personnel, as needed. Consultation can be educational or
evaluative. Also provides consultation and support to staff.
CLINICAL RECORD KEEPING: Initiates and maintains compliance of
timely and thorough record keeping and administrative/clinical
documentation required to account for services to clients and
program requirements. Such work includes, but is not limited to,
client-specific assessments, case services, and progress notes,
time sheets, schedules, and assigned periodic reports. REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in a relevant human service field
with experience providing counseling services to families and
children. Must have an interest in providing Trauma Based
Interventions. Licensure or eligible to pursue licensure in Vermont
as Social Worker, Psychologist, or Mental Health Professional.
