About the Role:The Counter position is essential for ensuring a seamless customer experience and efficient operations within our facility. This role involves managing customer interactions, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The successful candidate will be responsible for problem-solving on the spot, addressing customer inquiries, and ensuring that all products are well-stocked and organized. Additionally, the Counter will play a key role in team collaboration, contributing to a positive work environment and supporting sales initiatives. Ultimately, this position is vital for driving customer satisfaction and operational success in our Rumford location.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (Must be at least 18 years of age).Proven experience in a customer service or retail environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in inventory management or sales management.Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures.Responsibilities:Greet and assist customers in a professional manner, addressing their needs and inquiries.Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced cash register.Track and manage inventory levels, ensuring that products are stocked and organized.Collaborate with team members to enhance sales strategies and improve customer service.Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues and improve overall service delivery.Skills:The required skills for this position are crucial for daily operations and customer interactions. Problem-solving abilities will be utilized to address customer concerns and enhance their experience. Strong communication skills are essential for effectively conveying information to customers and collaborating with team members.
